What you receive
A personalized, AI-assisted coloring book reviewed by a person and approved by you before completion or printing.
Printable editions contain your selected 10, 20 or 30 illustrations plus two opening pages in US Letter size. Paperback editions contain 30 illustrations plus two opening pages, 8.5 × 11 inches, black ink on white paper. Paperback service is limited to the US when available. Reference artwork is interpretive; exact photographic likeness is not guaranteed.
Payment, corrections & delivery
Prices are shown in USD. Printed shipping is $6.99; applicable tax is calculated at secure checkout. No charge occurs when you save a design. We confirm a production estimate after accepting your materials. Shipping estimates depend on printer availability and destination; a particular birthday or event date is not guaranteed.
We share a complete proof after human quality review. Check every page, cover, name and dedication. Request a correction before approval. Approval applies only to the exact edition shown. Changes create a new edition and require approval again. Printing begins only after payment, customer approval, human QA and printer validation.
Contact hello@pencilpressed.com to cancel before production starts or to report an incorrect, damaged or defective item. A personalized item already in production may be ineligible for a change-of-mind refund. Where an approved service cannot be completed, we will contact you to resolve or refund the affected order. Your statutory consumer rights remain applicable.
Your images & permissions
Orders must be placed by an adult. Upload only photos you own or have permission to use. If a child appears, the purchaser must be their parent or legal guardian and authorize the image’s use. We do not create sexual, hateful, abusive, infringing or otherwise inappropriate content. Choose original themes rather than licensed characters or celebrity likenesses.
You retain rights to your uploads. You authorize Pencil Pressed and its service providers to process the materials only to create, review, deliver and support your order. Finished books are for personal, noncommercial use. We do not promise exclusive rights in AI-generated elements.
Privacy & retention
We use your account identity and email to manage your order, your photos and personalization to create it, and your shipping address and phone to fulfill a printed order. Payment details are collected by Stripe. Photos are sent to OpenAI for artwork generation. Private order records and files are stored using our website’s Cloudflare-backed database and file storage. Only final print files and necessary delivery details are sent to Lulu. Customer updates use Resend once configured.
Photos and proofs are private to your account and authorized operators. We do not use customer photos in marketing without separate permission. No marketing permission is bundled into an order. Printer file links are limited to final print PDFs and expire after 48 hours. Please download your finished PDF promptly.
Our normal personal-file retention target is 90 days from order creation, extended while necessary to resolve an active order. You may request removal from your order page or by email. Required payment and business records may be retained separately. Removal requires operator review and is not instantaneous. Provider retention and international processing follow their applicable service policies.
